I graduated from the Delhi Institute of Technology in 1994 with a BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering, and from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in 1996 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA).
I worked in the Sales and Marketing division at Asian Paints for a year and a half. In 2003, I completed my PhD from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While at CU, I taught the Product Strategy (MKTG4250) course in Fall 1999, 2000, and in Summer 2000, 2001 and 2002.
I'm currently an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis. In the Fall, I teach Consumer Behavior (MKT377) to BSBAs and Understanding and Influencing Consumer Behavior (MKT576A) to MBAs. Often in the Spring, I also teach the Decision Making Seminar (MKT674) to PhDs.
